Located in Reading Town Centre adjacent to the Broad Street Mall and 0.2 miles from The Oracle Shopping Centre offering riverside dining and leisure amenities.
There are a number of stores located in both the Oracle Shopping Centre and on Broad Street, including John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Zara, H&M, Office and Next. Overlooking the Kennett and Avon canal are numerous bars and restaurants such as Nando’s, Las Iguanas, Pizza Express, Yo Sushi! and Cote Brasserie. Further to the west of the site are the more urban areas of Tilehurst and Calcot, where a number of retail outlets can be found including Ikea, Sainsburys, Asda, Waitrose, Next, Dunelm and Porsche. Directly North is the commutable village of Caversham offering more independent retail outlets and restaurants with a close community feel.
Reading University is 2 miles away with around 20,000 students, a number of schools locally and in the surrounding area all rated good by Ofsted in their most recent inspections.
Reading is well located along the Thames Valley corridor with access to good road networks, including the M$ (east and west), A33 to Basingstoke and the A329 (M) to Bracknell.
Reading railway station offers extensive services to the north west, including Birmingham, west towards Penzance and the direct services to London Paddington. The Elizabeth ne also offers direct services into central London.
The nearest airports to Reading are London Heathrow, followed by London Gatwick.
