With regard to the commercial lease of ground floor 199 High Street Eltham the Seller advises that: (a) some payments of rent and other sums are made by a company called Buyback Solutions Limited (registered number 16600129); (b) the tenant has confirmed to the Seller that such payments are made by that company as agent for and on behalf of the actual tenant Cheque Mate Solutions Limited; (c) the two companies are run by members of the same family and Buyback is used to manage some of the finances and day-to-day operations of the business. Note also that a notice for compulsory strike off has been registered in respect of the tenant due to the confirmation statement being overdue. The Seller has written to the tenant to enquire as to when this will be resolved.
In response to the request to resolve the notice for compulsory strike off of the tenant company the family members who own Buyback Solution Ltd have asked for a meeting and it is likely that they will be looking to resurrect a previous application for consent to assign the lease which did not progress.
