Ilfracombe is a popular seaside resort town on the North Devon coast with a picturesque harbour surrounded by cliffs. The town is a short drive from the popular surfing beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton. Cross Park is a cul-de-sac running east from Wilder Road. The nearest train station is in Barnstaple, about 25 minutes' drive from Ilfracombe. From Barnstaple, the Tarka Line runs to Exeter St Davids, where there are connections to main line services across the UK, including to London Paddington. Exeter Airport is approximately one hour and 45 minutes' drive from Ilfracombe, and offers domestic and some international flights. Ilfracombe is part of the National Cycle Network, with routes like the Tarka Trail providing scenic cycling opportunities and linking to other parts of North Devon.
