The Sticle Estate is located in West Wales on the Gower Peninsula in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property is situated in an attractive and secluded rural position close to the village of Pencader, within the Carmarthenshire countryside. It sits some 244m (800 ft) above sea level and enjoys far reaching views. The surrounding area is predominantly rural, characterised by rolling farmland and open countryside, whilst the county town of Carmarthen is approximately 11 miles to the south west and provides a comprehensive range of shopping, recreational and other amenities. The West Wales coast and the towns of Lampeter, Llandeilo and Newcastle Emlyn are also within convenient driving distance.
Road communications are provided by the nearby A485, which provides access south towards Carmarthen and onwards to the A48 and M4 motorway. Carmarthen railway station is approximately 11 miles distant and provides regular services to Swansea, Cardiff and London Paddington (GWR).
