      The adjoining houses are accessed from a close (outside passage) off South Street in the centre of St Andrews. It is a central location close to the University, shops, bars and restaurants. The property is set back from the busy street but is only half a mile from the world famous Old Course and the West Sands beach. The Old Course is arguably the most famous golf course in the world and next plays host to the Open Championship in 2027. The historic town has a range of national and local retailers, hotels, restaurants, recreational and cultural facilities Access to St Andrews by rail, road and air is good. Leuchars railway station (8 miles) is on the main Aberdeen to London line and provides a link to Dundee and Edinburgh. Edinburgh Airport, with a wide range of domestic and international flights, is 50 miles away and Dundee Airport is 15 miles to the north.
